Voice notes everyone can follow.
Little kids can talk before they can type. Grandparents can listen or read. OurDot shows the words of a voice note right under it.
Tap the mic, talk, send. When the phone supports it, the words are transcribed on the phone itself, never on an outside server, and we never build voiceprints.
Made for the youngest and the oldest
A four-year-old can send Grandma a story without spelling a word. Grandma can read along if the room is loud, or listen when her glasses are across the room. Guardians can read what was said, too.
Private by design
- Transcription happens on the phone when it supports it. Recordings are never sent anywhere to be transcribed.
- Voice clips sit in private storage, never on public links.
- We never build voiceprints.
- When an account is deleted, its voice messages are deleted too.
Use it in the journal
Voice works in the private journal too, for days when talking is easier than writing.
Common questions
Does OurDot listen to my family’s voice notes?
